It's sometimes said in the world of sports that a coach can give an athlete the necessary tools to succeed, but you can't teach him/her how to have the heart of a champion.  In the world of the performing arts, an instructor can teach a young artist how to execute the seemingly impossible, but never be able to teach them how to play with TRUE passion.  Let's raise a glass and drink to New Orleans, all heart, all passion, all the time.  And let's toast to the human spirit, the one thing that will never erode.
